Large selection of delicious cakes. Currently only to take away. Happy to shop here when I'm in town.

Walked through the city center at 7 a.m. this morning and fell into the Rothe on Puschkinstrasse. I was completely exhausted from soooooo good rolls and yeast croissants as big as bread ... awesome. Very nice service and one more regular customer. Incidentally, the atmosphere in the café is much nicer than at the market. Many Thanks.

Top bakery, top coffee, top cake, top-friendly service. And in the middle of it all. What more do you want?

Very nice café with very friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Super delicious homemade pies and cakes. Price / performance ratio very good. A visit is highly recommended. Always my pleasure.

After we were "most kindly" advised to wait in the entrance area, a table was assigned to us after a few minutes. Then we were ignored by the "friendly" waitress for a full 25 minutes, even though we were sitting right in front of the counter. In the meantime, new guests came in, all of whom were served promptly by her. Got up and left, seem to have enough guests, the 2 more or less doesn't matter. Never experienced such cheek!

An extremely unfriendly service. Doesn't respond to friendly questions from guests, is annoyed. The location, however, is great.

A fortnight ago we visited Cafe Rothe in Schwerin on a wonderful Friday afternoon. As it was very busy on the terrace, we asked the waiter if we could just sit down if a table became free or if we had to wait for a seat to be allocated. Already here we were handled very unfriendly, he couldn't take care of the guest placement. Finally, sitting at a free table, I went to the cake display to choose a piece of cake for myself and my husband, so that it goes faster. When I asked the counter staff about the types of cake, she rolled her eyes annoyed and demonstratively at the third cake. When I asked her about it, still amused, she snapped at me in front of all the guests, whatever I could think of to say something like that. I then returned to our table. At the next table, guests had meanwhile complained to the waiter about the long waiting time before ordering. The waiter angrily explained to the guests how many guests he had to look after in the interior and on the terrace and that was quite exhausting be. After 35 minutes, in which the dirty dishes are also removed Guests stood at our table beforehand and we were not served, we then left again. The waiter, who was still arguing at the next table, gave us a big look as we left, but didn't say a word. All I can think of is the following: Sniffing at guests for no reason is not possible. Guests are not interested in the stressful day-to-day work of the service staff, especially when there are four waiters for around 80 guests. If a service person notices that you made a mistake, this can happen. Here the guest is happy about a few friendly words. Was there something positive: of course, the cakes looked very tasty. Unfortunately, I couldn't convince myself of the taste.

Waiters unfortunately completely unfriendly and annoyed and unwelcoming. The toilet was clean, but the paper for drying hands was used up, should perhaps be checked more often ... The positive thing was that the drinks were delicious. The lady who cashed in was nice and personable.

Had some reservations at first (the interior / decoration is quite unique), but was quickly won over with the food and especially the service. What is remarkable is the very fast, reliable service that does not require a block or similar for all orders. Needed help. Gladly again ?

Very nice coffee right on the market square. The service is very courteous and not on the lips. My order arrived very quickly and the coffee was very good. I can only recommend!

Actually, I'm always here because of the Berliners, very big and very tasty, again and again, but not only they are good, but also the coffee crema with them. However, I assume that everything will taste very good, in any case the entire range looks like you want to try everything and what could be served by the very nice staff.

Nice cafe right on the market square. We were served friendly and quickly, special requests for the children were not a problem. Food and drinks were very good.

Rudeness and approximation of the waiters. Nice looking but ugly cakes, at least two days old and in bad taste. Definitely not recommended.

Tasty pastries. I thought: an iced coffee, but that was a very extensive iced coffee with all the trimmings

Very good coffee, with cakes of many varieties and delicious. Maybe a little expensive, but it is quick to service, friendly and clean. They have a piano. The sites are spacious on both sides of the premises, perfect to go with more people, only if you are next to the door it is a little uncomfortable because of the passage of people, since many people go to bring bread or cake for home. Recommendable.

We were there today and wanted to have breakfast. Unfortunately I made the mistake and addressed the operation. The latter responded to my question whether she could give us a table as soon as someone was released in a loud and cheeky voice, nothing would be free and she could not scare anyone off the table. That is not how it works!!! Especially since a couple right next to us wanted to pay with the money in hand. Too bad, we had really nice breakfast there five years ago and were served very nicely.

Another great place to have a nice and very tasty time. Large selection of excellent pastries, courteous and friendly staff, cozy atmosphere. If you want to visit the city center, you should definitely visit this place.
